The Counties of Arenac and Iosco have each declared a Local State of Emergency and have submitted a request for a Governor’s Emergency Disaster Declaration and State Assistance.

Damage assessments are ongoing at this time and to aid us in assuring we have accurate assessments of all damage the State of Michigan has provided a damage assessment reporting form.

Residents of Arenac and Iosco County are asked to report damage caused by the recent flooding as a result of heavy rainfall on May 18.

Homeowners and business owners in Arenac & Iosco County should visit https://arcg.is/10ab1j  to complete an online self-reporting damage survey.

The information collected from the survey will be used to help determine a more accurate estimate of damages caused by the 500-year catastrophic event.

Residents should report the depth of water levels reached in home basements and on first floors, damage to electrical and mechanical components, and structural damage to foundations and support walls.

The survey also provides an option for uploading damage photos.
