Eric Braun
Park Manager 

Eric has been with the City of East Tawas since October 2019. He became Park Manager in October 2020. He graduated from Hale Area Schools in 2005 and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Alma College.  He also received a Master of Science degree in Sports Administration from Central Michigan University.  He has worked for the Michigan DNR Parks and Recreation Division at Rifle River Recreation Area, Harrisville State Park and Isabella Bank as a Facilities Manager.


Alex Ogard
Park Ranger

Alex joined the City of East Tawas as the Park Ranger in April 2021.  He graduated from Williamston High School, MI in 2011. He received his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Ferris State University in 2015 and worked as a Project Coordinator in Lansing until May of 2020.  He currently lives in Tawas City with his wife and two kids.   



Henry Proper
Park Maintenance

Henry has been with the City of East Tawas since October 1987.  He graduated from Tawas Area High School in 1979.
