Library Donations
Material Donations
The East Tawas Library accepts donations of used books, recent magazines, DVD's, audio books and jigsaw puzzles.  Materials not circulated are placed in the book sale area or given away depending on condition, the library's collection needs, and space, as decided by library staff.  We are unable to accept encyclopedias, textbooks, old magazines, Reader's Digest Condensed books or musty/moldy material.

Donor Wall and Brick Pavers
Our donor wall inside the library recognizes the financial donations made to help construct the library.  The solid wood books were crafted locally by Dave Hicks or Redbird Wood Products and engraved by John Bolen of Tawas Bay Etchworks.  The wooden books recognize donations of $1,000 or more.  The large, open wooden book recognizes donors or $100 to $999.  Outside of the library brick pavers honor and memorize other library supports.  Bricks are available for $100 each.  Please submit the application form to City Hall.

We will be happy to work with you to help select books in honor and/or in memory of friends, colleagues, relatives and loved ones.  A book plate will be placed in each book.
